CAMPINE visited ICL Group facilities in Israel to discuss common activities within PLAST2bCLEANED

Campine, PLAST2bCLEANED’s antimony recovery expert visited ICL’s (bromine recovery leader) facilities in Israel, including the plastics laboratory where the testing for PLAST2bCLEANED is carried out.

The objective of Campine’s visit was to continue the cooperation between the two entities so that brominated flame retardants (BFR) and antimony trioxide (ATO), different types of components, become part of the circular economy and keep working on the PLAST2bCLEANED project. Throughout the project, Campine contributes to delivering plastic material with identified bromine and antimony trioxide content and ICL supports the project as advisor about the use of brominated flame retardants and the technology to finally recovery the bromine.

On the other hand, Campine and ICL managers met and discussed about the progress in the recovery of chemicals, antimony, and bromine.
