Gaiker

GAIKER Technological Centre (www.gaiker.es), located in the Technological Park of Bizkaia (Spain), is devoted to the up-take of own knowledge and to the development of new technologies that are later transferred to customers coming from sectors such as the Pharmaceutical Industry, Chemical Industry, Public Administrations, Automotive Industries, Construction, Packing and Packaging, and Home Appliances, amongst others. From 1985, the Centre has carried out close to 1500 R&D Projects related to its Knowledge Areas: Biotechnology, Environment and Recycling, and Plastics and Composites. Besides its activity in R&D, GAIKER offers to its customers Advanced Technological Services, Analysis and Tests and Technological Dissemination Services.

TNO

TNO is the Netherlands Organisation for Applied Scientific Research. TNO is the largest fully independent Research, Development and Consultancy organisation in the Netherlands with a staff of about 3,000 and a total annual turnover of more than 500 million Euros. It derives a significant portion of its contract R&D from foreign private sector, governments and international organisations. TNO’s primary tasks are to support and assist trade and industry including SME’s, governments and others in technological innovation and in solving problems by rendering services and transferring knowledge and expertise.

Fraunhofer

The Fraunhofer Institute for Chemical Technology ICT, founded in 1959, is one of the largest and longest-established institutes of the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft, which currently has around 24,000 employees and a total turnover of 2.1 billion Euro. At Fraunhofer ICT’s site in Pfinztal over 540 employees carry out research and development work in the core competence areas of chemical and environmental engineering, polymer engineering, energy systems and explosives technology. The institute’s facilities comprise 25,000 m² of laboratories, offices, pilot plants, workshops, test stands and other facilities. This exceptional research infrastructure, which includes high-volume pilot plants and industrial-scale equipment, enables Fraunhofer ICT to develop and implement new materials, processes and products up to near-industrial level. Well-equipped laboratories with cutting-edge safety features and energy-saving technology are available at the institute, as well as all the analysis and testing procedures needed for research in its specific fields.

ICL

ICL is manufacturing products to enhance safety and human well-being, ICL Europe Coöperatief U.A.(ICL), the industrial chemicals sector of Israel Chemicals Limited (ICL), is the world’s largest producer of elemental bromine, and a leader in the production and marketing of bromine and bromine compounds, supplying over 33% of global demand. ICL-IP also has a leading position in the manufacturing of phosphorus based compounds for fire safety.

Campine

Campine nv is producer of antimony trioxide and granulates (mainly used as flame retardant additive, as PET catalyst or pigment in ceramic industry) and producer of Mastertek® FR master batch solutions for the plastics industry for a broad range of applications (e.g. film, foam, pipes, sheets, molding, compounding,…). With a market share in antimony trioxide of more than 35% in Europe, Campine is one of the main players. Campine is the sole antimony trioxide recycler in Europe.

Elix Polymers

ELIX POLYMERS is a manufacturer of plastic raw materials (ABS-Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene , SAN- Styrene Acrylonitrile) and mixtures of its with polymers such as PC, PA. ELIX is located in the petrochemical site of Tarragona (Spain), and from there has worldwide presence in the thermoplastic engineering resin market, being one of the leading companies in its sector in Europe. Electrolux Italia is a historic European leader in household appliances for research, design and manufacturing. The Company is controlled by the Swedish Electrolux AB, which is a global leader in household appliances and similar equipment for professional use, selling more than 60 million of products in 150 countries. Electrolux products include refrigerators, dishwashers, washing machines cookers, vacuum cleaner, small domestic appliances and air-conditioners, sold under estimated brands such as Electrolux, AEG, Zanussi, Anova, Eureka and Frigidaire. Electrolux Italia, thanks to the consolidated know-how and the presence of several R&D centers, is today the most important support to the Electrolux Group’s leadership in Europe and world-wide, both in terms of manufactured volumes and of quality, innovation and esthetical design features implemented in them.

Juchheim Laborgeräte

JUCHHEIM Laborgeräte GmbH is a worldwide well known producer of laboratory and pilot plant equipment. The production capacities range from computer aided design and engineering over metal machining to access to various technologies for surface finishing. As most of the customers employ the devices and plants in an R&D environment, the requirements fall into a wide spectrum. Consequently, JUCHHEIM brings expertise in various fields of process technologies.

Coolrec

Coolrec is part of the Renewi group (formerly Van Gansewinkel and Shanks). Renewi is a major waste collection and treatment company in the Benelux area, UK and Canada. The vision of Renewi is ‘to be the leading waste-to-product company’. Our vision reflects our aspirations as well as our proud heritage. It shows how we close the circle between waste and product.
